Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step.
You may have been thinking about it for weeks or even months — wondering whether things are "bad enough", telling yourself you should be coping better, or putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own.
If that's where you are, you're not alone.
Your first session
Our first session isn't about having all the answers or knowing exactly where to begin. It's simply a conversation. A chance for me to get to know you, understand what's been happening, and hear the story behind the struggles you're carrying.
There is no pressure to say everything at once. We move at a pace that feels safe for you.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work towards helping you feel more like yourself again.
What people experience
Some people leave their first session feeling lighter simply because they've finally been able to say things out loud. Others leave with new insights, hope, or a sense that someone genuinely understands.
There is no "right" way to experience therapy.
Finding the right fit
Finding the right therapist matters. Therapy is built on trust, and it's important that you feel comfortable, understood, and supported.
That's why I offer a free 15-minute consultation — an opportunity to ask questions, see whether we're the right fit, and decide whether working together feels right for you.
You don't have to be ready
You don't have to have it all figured out before reaching out.
You just have to take the first step.
Together, we can
- Create a safe space to talk about what's really going on
- Make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck
- Work at a pace that feels right for you
- Help you feel more like yourself again
